Who Should Attend This Workshop

This one-day seminar is designed for individuals who, after a successful vendor is selected, expect to work with the vendor for the duration of the project for which the vendor was selected. It is recommended  that participants attend the basic course, "How to Create a Request for Proposal" as a pre-requisite, as it will become apparent that a number of actions could and should have been taken in the "Request for Proposal" preparation phase that would have greatly improved the chances of obtaining a superior performance from a vendor at job execution time.

This course is devoted to the relationship of the buyer and vendor after the vendor is selected, until the job is completed to the satisfaction of the buyer. It covers topics in project management, change management, incentives and penalties, and documentation that can serve as the basis for past performance evaluation of vendors.
